                              HCCF Golf Tournament

                              Friday, October 23, 2020

Registration to participate in our 2020 golf tournament is now open. Following are details of our tournament and the changes we are making to allow for a Covid19 safe environment for all players.

Registration – You can register and also pay by credit card on our website – www.heroncreekfoundation.org – or by clicking REGISTER or by completing the attached BROCHURE and returning it with your check to the pro shop or mailing it to the address shown in the brochure.
All participants who previously registered and paid their entry fee for the tournament scheduled for April, and did not receive a refund, you are included in the event and you do not need to take any further action.  We thank you for your support.

Event –

·       Morning Tee Times – In place of a shotgun start we will have assigned morning tee times for each group to eliminate having a gathering of a large number of people.

·       Food Service – A continental breakfast (Danish, Beverage & Fruit) will be served by the staff prior to your tee time. In lieu of a group luncheon, all participants will receive a $25 gift card redeemable for dining at Heron Creek whenever you choose. Again, this will eliminate having a large gathering of people.

·       Golf Prizes – Winning team prizes are outlined in the attached brochure. Prizes will be awarded following the completion of play of all participants. If the winners are not present, we will deliver the prizes to the winners.

·       Raffle Drawings – Raffle tickets will be sold at the registration desk prior to your tee times. While the players are on the golf course the drawings will be conducted and a list of the winners and their prizes will be available when you complete your round. If you have won a raffle prize, it will be available immediately when you complete your round of golf.

·       Complimentary Beverages on Golf Course – Volunteers will be at the beverage sites to distribute the complimentary beverages. This will eliminate having the players come into contact with the drinks in the coolers.

·       On Course Extra Games – Due to the COVID19 virus, we will be eliminating all on course games to ensure we do not have any “touch points” for the participants.

·       Closest to the Pin & Long Drive Contests – We will have volunteers at all holes having a contest to measure and record the leaders for each event. Again, this will eliminate having the players touching tape measures and other objects.

We sincerely appreciate your support for the foundation by participating in this event and trust you understand the need for the changes we are making to the format to ensure a safe environment for everyone. COVID19 has created many challenges throughout the world and our commitment to raise funds to help those in need in North Port has never been greater. We look forward to creating a safe environment and having a fantastic tournament for all participants.
