You Came Through Again!
This year, All Faith’s Food Bank had asked HCCF to shift the annual Heron Creek Community Foundation Food Drive to a FUND DRIVE.  The Fund Drive ran from Monday, February 8 until Friday, February 12 and was very successful.

The Heron Creek Community Foundation conducted a 5 day campaign to raise funds for the All Faith’s Food Bank.  The donations from members and residents of Heron Creek rose to over $21,000.

On Friday, March 5, Heron Creek Community Foundation was happy to present Aundria Castleberry, representative of All Faith’s Food Bank, a check in the amount of $21,780.  This money will allow All Faith’s Food Bank to purchase 108,900 meals for hungry people.  A big thank you goes out to all who donated and volunteered.

All Faith’s Food Bank tells us:

 - for every $ donated, the food bank can purchase 5 nutritious meals, whereas the average consumer may be able to purchase two cans of green beans with the same dollar;

 - the possibility of receiving expired merchandise is removed; and

 - food safety is ensured… it is purchased, prepared, stored, sanitized, and distributed in the safest way.

You can make your donation by cash or check.  Checks should be made payable to HCCF (Heron Creek Community Foundation) and please write Fund Drive in the Memo.  Donations can be given/delivered to your neighborhood Fund Drive Volunteer who will have a collection box near their front door.

A debt of gratitude is owed to our neighborhood Fund Drive Volunteers:
